Fall Open Sunday Soccer
The season starts on August 24 and ends with the finals on December 7. All games are at 8:30 am or 10:15 am in Scripps Ranch.
Draft Process
Because the league cannot accommodate an infinite number of teams or players, spots are filled by a draft. If your registration is received by 5:00 pm on Tuesday, August 19, you are guaranteed a spot in the draft, but you are not guaranteed a spot on a team.
New Players
All new players and any player who has not played in an Old Pros league in the last two years must attend a pre-season evaluation scrimmage to be eligible for the lottery or sub list. The scrimmage date is TBD but likely Wednesday, August 20 at 6:30 pm.
Attendance
The league requests that players only sign up if they are confident that they can attend at least two-thirds of the scheduled regular season games. Any player who misses two consecutive games without requesting a sub is subject to immediate substitution for a minimum of two more games by the league. Any player who misses three total games without requesting a sub is subject to immediate replacement as well as suspension from all SROP soccer leagues for one year.

- Age limit: Players must be 25 years old by August 24 (birth dates will be verified)

- Registration fee includes: Team jersey, eleven match regular season schedule plus playoffs and season-end finals celebration

All players who register for a full-time position will have their credit card charged a $35 deposit at the time of registration. If drafted onto a team, the player will be sent a link where they will need to pay the remaining balance of the registration fee prior to the first game. Any player who fails to make a payment or whose payment fails to process by 7:00 pm the day prior to the first game will be replaced immediately. Full-time applicants who are not drafted onto a team will have the option of being placed on the sub list or have their deposit refunded to the credit card used for the deposit.
