The season begins Sunday, January 25. The finals are scheduled on Sunday, May 3. Regular season and playoff games are at 8:30 am am 10:15 am in Scripps Ranch.

Draft Process

Because the league is limited to 8 teams, spots are filled by a draft lottery. If your registration is received by 5:00 pm on January 22, you are guaranteed a spot in the draft, but you are not guaranteed a spot on a team.

New Players

All New Players and any player who has not played in an Old Pros league in the last two years must attend a pre-season evaluation scrimmage on Sunday, January 18th at 8:30 am to be eligible for the lottery or sub list.

Attendance

The League requests that players only sign up if they are confident that they can attend at least two-thirds of the scheduled regular season games. Any player who misses two consecutive games without requesting a sub is subject to immediate substitution for minimum three more games by the League. Any player who misses three total games without requesting a sub is subject to immediate replacement as well as suspension from all SROP Soccer Leagues for one year.

League

• Players must be 25 years old by January 25 (birth dates will be verified)
• Registration deadlines: January 17 (Early Bird); January 22 at 5:00 (Regular)
• Registration fee includes: Team jersey, 11 scheduled matches plus playoffs, season-end finals celebration

All players who register for a full-time position will have their credit card charged a $40 deposit at the time of registration. If drafted onto a team, the player will be sent a link where they will need to pay the remaining balance of the registration fee prior to the first game. Any player who fails to make a payment or whose payment fails to process by 7:00 pm the day prior to the first game will be replaced immediately. Full-time applicants who are not drafted onto a team will have the option of being placed on the sub list or have their deposit refunded to the credit card used for the deposit.
